My son Zach and I are traveling around the US on my motorcycle this summer. The plan is to visit 22 states and a lot of major National Parks. More important is for us to have an adventure to remember. We leave on July 2, and will be on the road for about 25 days.

Oregon
We decided to skip Mount Rainer, and head toward the Oregon Coast. We are eating lunch in Hermision, Oregon. We may get there today, not sure. Just depends on how we feel, got about 300 more miles to go.

How many people can say they celebrated their 16th birthday in a month long cross country ride? Heck, I don't even remember doing anything on my 16th birthday and that had nothing to do with alcohol. Live the life you have and man are you two guys doing that!!! I wish EVERYDAY I was with you two riding today. What a memory.
Hi Tim and Zack!! Wow! what great pictures you are sending and memories you are savoring! Happy Birthday Zack!! You will talk about this adventure for a VERY long time!!! There are many of us who are riding along right with you guys!! Be well and be safe! We know you are having a great birthday!!! :) Best Wishes Maureen
Happy Birthday Zack, You're a lucky guy to be on an adventure like this. Looking at the pics brings back memories of when I rode from Quebec(where i live)to California round trip. That was a month long trip, but I was 22. I am now 47 and always will remember that trip, would love to do something like that again...:)
memories you'll both have forever.next weekend in seaside oregon(on the norhtern oregon coast is bikefest not a rowdy family frendily show).you might win farthest to go see.their are some great roads going south on 101.
Happy Birthday Zack. But just in case you missed this, your Dad's Having a big day too. You guys rock, keep your nose in the wind and see where it takes you. And remember "you can't get lost if you don't care where your going"
Happy birthday Zack!!! You both sound like youre having a great time. My wife and I 3 wks ago returned from a trip to the rockies 1933 miles and or longest trip to date. Great time and sore butts.
Happy Birthday Zack! At that age my dad wouldn't commit to letting me have a mini-bike. Fortunately I was able to learn to ride and experience this joy as an adult. Respect and appreciate this opportunity, and the father that you have. Blessings!
Happy Birthday Zack! I do not know you or your dad but wanted to take a moment and wish you health & happiness in the upcoming year! A memory of a life time, coast to coast and back riding with your dad! I do hope you enjoy your time in the Northwest, the Oregon coast is a beautiful spot to visit. If yu'all change plans again and make it up to Port Townsend in Washington State there is a wonderful camp ground right on the water at Fort Worden State Park. I would be happy to provide a hot meal and a (belated) birthday cake for you and your dad!
Sending along a good thought and a prayer for a safe journey!
First of all let me wish you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY. You will look back at this ride for the rest of your life. What an awesome ride 22 states in a month. I have been riding since I was 8 years old, first in the dirt and now off road and street. You have many years of riding ahead of you, ride safe and enjoy my friend.
