Well today has indeed been a long day. We started out this morning around 05:30 Eastern time. We rode to Asheville and had breakfast.

Here is a sun-dail that we found @ a rest area in Tennessee.

We had planned on trying to make it to O'fallon, Il today, which is just outside of St. Louis; however, after, lunch we were both tired. We rode until we reached Kentucky, and pulled into the welcome center. The bathrooms were out of order, but the folks there were very nice. Zach took a nap on a bench just outside the building, while i went in and asked if we could plug our headsets in to recharge, since they had both drained completely. The gentelman the "Dale" was very helpfull giving me directions, and suggestions of places to go. Zach woke himself up when he rolled of the bench. Dale was picking @ him and told him that he almost had to call 911 because he thought Zach was unconscious(prior to the fall). We didn't see Zach fall, he told us when he came inside.

Kentucky will be giving out a commenorative penny @ the welcome centers starting on July 4th. Dale gave Zach one of them and told him that he was the first to recieve one because they are not suppose to give them out until Saturday. All in all we spent about an hour @ this rest area.

After that we rode to Paducah, Ky and stopped to get fuel. We decided that O'fallon was just too far to go today. So we settled on Marion, Il. We rode 584 miles today, not to shabby.

Breakfast is @ 6 am, then it's about 120 miles to the Gateway Arch. So this all for tonight.
